Dog Walking and Pet Care in Crewe and the Surrounding Area

QualifIed | Experienced | Insured

PictusPaw Dog Walking, based in the north of Crewe, was established in response to an increasing need for quality pet care. Busy lives can introduce difficulties to responsible pet ownership, so employing an experienced and qualified dog walker/pet carer can help make things a little easier for you as well as add enrichment to your pets lives.

Bek at PictusPaw has owned and trained dogs for many years, and after gaining several animal related qualifications she worked for three years at a dog training and daycare centre in Wiltshire as their daycare worker and dog walker. A few months after moving to Cheshire to continue her studies, she realised how much she missed working with dogs and decided to start her own business to offer a quality service to local pet owners.

Based in Leighton, we cover Crewe, Middlewich, and the area in between.

Hester

Hester is Bek’s sociable young Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever bitch, who is more than happy to join other sociable dogs for walkies!

Gryff

Gryff is a happy boy who has fantastic social skills with other dogs. However, as he is a scenthound he does tend to switch his ears off when he catches a scent!

Whatever The Weather

Come rain or shine we will be there for your pets! Walks can be in groups of no more than 4 dogs, or individual depending on your preferences and the preferences of the dogs. Dogs will only be let off-lead in safe places with the owner’s consent, and only after I have met the dog a few times to build up a relationship. Pre-walk consultations/meet and greets are free of charge.

Our Services

Dog walking

Our standard walks are 30 mins or 1 hour, not including travel time. Depending on your location walks may be straight from your home or may involve a short trip in the van to somewhere with exciting scents! Sociable dogs can be walked in compatible groups of up to 4 individuals, or can be walked on their own. We are happy to work with dogs that have lead reactivity issues after a thorough consultation.

Dog Home visits

For dogs that don’t require a walk and just need a bit of one-on-one attention and a toilet break outside. This may suit young puppies or elderly dogs, but any dog is welcome to use this service! We can have a cuddle or a play, feed if required, and we can even do some enrichment activities to engage their brains and noses!

Other Pet visits

We also offer services for other pets including holiday visits for cats for feeding and cuddling, visits for small mammals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets, and visits for the more exotic creatures such as bearded dragons, geckos, snakes and frogs! We have experience with many different species so just let us know what you require.
